How this slot Pays – The CollectR Core
this slot runs on a 4×2 grid that doesn’t stay fixed – it can expand during certain features, opening more room for chaos. Four birds, each linked to a gem colour, roam the grid and collect matching gems, coins, wilds, and feature symbols. Movement happens step-by-step to adjacent tiles; once a bird runs out of targets, collected symbols vanish, remaining ones drop, and new symbols cascade in. If at least one bird can still move after the drop, collecting kicks off again.
Gems can be levelled up individually, pushing payout potential higher up to level 7. The Collection Meter above the grid tracks every gem and wild collected by any bird. When the meter hits its limit, one pending Feature Symbol Release is awarded – and players can store up to three of these releases. When they trigger together, multiple feature symbols land at once, fuelling another collecting spree.
On the numbers side, this slot is playable from €0.20 to €100 per spin, not counting the X-iter bonus buys that sit on top as separate options. The RTP is 94%, paired with a hit rate of 25% – roughly one in four spins produces some kind of return. Volatility sits firmly in the high bracket, fitting the 10,000x max win ceiling. Sessions swing hard as the game waits for stronger collecting chains, but when upgraded gems, coins, and a full grid of movement line up, payouts can push into serious territory.
Corner Bombs / Grid Expansion
Each inner corner of the playing field holds a Corner Bomb tied to a random bird colour at the start of a round. When a bird collects a symbol sitting on top of a bomb matching its own colour, that bomb arms itself. Detonation happens once birds run out of reachable targets – all birds temporarily leave the grid, and the bomb clears a 3×3 area around itself, wiping out gems and expanding the grid up to a cap of 8 rows by 8 columns.
Once a bomb blows away a section of the frame, that gap becomes a tunnel. If a bird can collect symbols at the tunnel’s entrance and exit, it travels through, picking up to two feature symbols hidden inside. When the grid reaches maximum expanded size, a space portal can appear – and if two or more portals are active with collectable symbols on them, birds can teleport between them. No wilds. Fine – the mechanics do the heavy lifting on reels 2-4.
Feature Symbols / Upgrades
When a Feature Symbol Release triggers – on the first free drop in the bonus game or in regular play when birds run out of moves – regular gems convert into special symbols scattered across the grid. Each brings its own perk:
| Symbol | Effect |
|---|---|
| Bonus | Contributes toward triggering the main Free Drops bonus game |
| Super Bonus | Helps secure access to the enhanced bonus game version |
| Wild | Substitutes for any gem at its current payout level |
| Coins | Instantly pay their displayed value multiplied by current bet level |
| Upgrade | Increases payout level of matching gems by 1, 2, or 3 steps, up to level 7 |
| Upgrade All | Applies to all four gem colours at once, up to level 7 |
| Transform | Changes nearby gems to collecting bird’s colour, may convert some to feature symbols |
| Spacecorn | Places special symbols in empty spaces, allows birds to cross empty tiles once |
| Black Hole | Activates when birds are out of moves – sucks in symbols and birds, spits them back in new arrangement |
Bonus Buys – X-iter Menu
The X-iter feature unlocks a range of bonus bets and bonus buys, letting players jump straight into enhanced modes with guaranteed features or increased trigger chances:
| Feature | Cost | Effect |
|---|---|---|
| Super Bonus | Guarantees entry to super bonus game on 8×8 grid | |
| Bonus | 100x bet | Guarantees entry to regular bonus game |
| Coin Game | Guarantees entry to coin collection round | |
| Feature Trigger | Guarantees one drop where key feature triggers; super bonus guaranteed if bonus follows | |
| Bonus Hunt | 3x bet per spin | Quadruples chances of triggering bonus game |
Bonus Game / Free Drops
The bonus game triggers when three bonus symbols are collected during the same round, awarding five free drops. This mode doesn’t reset progress – whatever you’ve built on the Collection Meter and the current payout level of gems carries straight in. Bonus symbols remain useful here too; collecting one during the feature adds an extra free drop. The regular bonus starts on your current unlocked grid size, but if at least one triggering symbol is a Super Bonus, you’re thrown into the Super Bonus game instead, which always begins on the full 8×8 grid and makes every Upgrade symbol boost all gems at once.
Any pending feature joins the party – if an Alien Invasion, Corner Bomb, or Feature Symbol Release was waiting to fire when the bonus triggered, it executes as part of the very first free drop. The feature continues until you run out of drops or hit the win cap.
Random Modifiers
The game throws in random modifiers that revive dying sequences or snowball strong setups into something ridiculous:
Charlie’s Extra Chance can randomly trigger when birds can’t collect anything else. One to four Corner Bombs activate at once, birds temporarily leave the grid, explosions clear chunks of symbols, everything drops, new ones fall in, and birds return to see if there’s anything worth chasing again.
Space Switcheroo may trigger when two birds end up next to each other. One is relocated either to the edge of the grid or to the next symbol it can collect, while useless gems in its way are wiped out and don’t count toward the meter.
Power Clash appears when three or more birds get stuck together horizontally or vertically and can’t pick up anything else. All those birds collide into a single position, instantly nuking a 5×5 area of gems around the clash point. Then they blast off in different directions – horizontally, vertically, or diagonally – automatically triggering or collecting any Corner Bombs, Black Holes, coins, or bonus symbols in their flight paths.
